Pediatric care
Sick visits and same-day guidance
When a child is suddenly sick or uncomfortable, calling first helps the office decide the safest next step and whether an in-person visit is needed.
- Acute concerns such as fever, cough, sore throat, ear pain, rashes, stomach symptoms, and minor injuries.
- Same-day daytime care is preferred when possible, based on availability and the child's needs.
- Phone guidance helps determine whether care can wait, needs an office visit, or should move to urgent or emergency care.
- Video visits may be available for selected concerns when appropriate.
